Security Analyst Explains Why We Love Lulzsec

Patrick Cloudy of the Risky Clientele security podcast says many net security professionals "secretly love" the ongoing antics of cyber-terrorist group Lulzsec because it's forcing the public to come to grips with the sad country of online security.

The hack collective that calls itself Lulzsec has made an awful lot of noise in recent days, hacking Sony, Nintendo, Phosphate buffer solution and the security truehearted Black &A; Berg. The last aggress came in response to a challenge from senior security adviser Joe Black, who offered a prize of $10,000 and a job with his company to anyone who could do it. The site noted that while Black claims to constitute working happening his Masters in Security Direction, he actually withdrew from all feed he was enrolled in back in January 2009, and there are also some apparently-heavy security certifications nonexistent from his CV.

That's some pretty serious lulz accurate there.
