Independence Day actor Beak Pullman responds to Trump using his movie speech communication

Independence Day histrion Bill Pullman has spoken up about U.s. President Donald Trump's recent tweet.
On Sun (May 17), Trump tweeted a clip of the famous voice communication from the 1996 alien activity thriller that starred Will Smith and with Pullman playing the function of the fictional president, Thomas J Whitmore.
Trump'due south tweet featured the spoken communication fabricated past Pullman's grapheme to celebrate the destruction of the hostile alien forces.
Still, the prune had been doctored to superimpose Trump'due south face over Pullman'southward. The audio remains the aforementioned although the subject seems to now be most the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pullman told Deadline how he felt about the video: "My vocalization belongs to no ane but me, and I'm non running for president – this year."
The deepfake video originated from a Twitter account called Mad "ObamaGate" Liberals, which describes itself as "A 'video manipulator' making memes for our President, Donald J. Trump."
As the speech played, we see others in the White House administration such as Ivanka Trump and Vice President Mike Pence with their faces also superimposed over other characters in the scene as they gather for the speech.
